Free between classes?
Grab a coffee with a classmate.
Upload your timetable and BothCups finds classmates who are free when you are — same course first. Start a coffee run in your gap, sign up for Coffee Tuesday, or put your cup out on the campus map until it bumps into a classmate's. First names only, and nothing happens until you both say yes.
A coffee with someone from your program — without the awkward part.
Seneca students only
Everyone verifies a @myseneca.ca email before they can match, so the person across the table is a real classmate.
Nothing until you both say yes
You see a first name, a shared course and a time. They see the same. No yes from both of you, no coffee — and no one learns who passed.
First names only
No profiles to browse. Your match sees your first name — and, once you’ve both said yes, your photo and a line about you. Never your email, timetable, free times or rooms, and no course except one you share. Plans happen in a private chat.
Your timetable stays yours
We read the PDF or screenshot once — screenshots through an AI vision model — to find your free blocks, courses and class rooms, then throw the file away. Only you see what we keep, and you can edit or clear it any time.
On campus, in daylight
Coffees are at a café on campus — usually the one nearest both your classes: Tim Hortons in B, Starbucks or the Minkler Atrium in A, The Market in D. Busy, public, and a few minutes from your next room.
Show up, or say so
Can't make it? Say so in your thread and it's fine. Skipping without a word is noted privately — a couple of no-shows and you're paused for a bit, so the people who come can count on it.
Join the Newnham pilot.
For Seneca Newnham students. Sign up with your @myseneca.ca email — the more classmates who join, the more people are free when you are.
BothCups is piloting at Seneca Newnham. We're letting people in a few at a time this semester and building in the open.
